Misha founded Misha Patel Studio, LLC, known to its clients as MPS, in San Jose, CA in 2009. Since then, MPS has touched the lives of thousands of clients, with around 150 active clients in any given week. Central Core, founded in 2016, is MPS' location on California's central coast.
Misha is a fully certified Stott Pilates and TRX Suspension Training instructor with an emphasis on injuries and special populations. Hence, in addition to offering classes to the general public, professional athletes, expecting and new mothers, young adults, and active seniors, Misha welcomes clients with herniated or bulged disc, spinal fusions, neck trauma, rotator cuff injuries, ligamental injuries, carpal tunnel, meniscal tears, breast surgery, or scoliosis. Additionally, Misha has extensive experience in training clients who have separated abdominals, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, TMJ, biceps tendinopathy, frozen shoulder, tennis and golfer elbow, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, MS, and neuropathy.
Misha's instruction is heavily influenced by her understanding of human anatomy and kinesiology, which enables her to aid each of her clients achieve individual goals in a healthy, appropriate, and proactive manner.
As an accomplished dancer, figure skater, and choreographer, Misha has spoken at several national and international conventions about injury prevention and the importance of strength and flexibility to that end. In 2018, she became one of the few fitness professionals to ever be named to Silicon Valley’s Top 40 Under 40 by Silicon Valley Business Journal. Misha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts, Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Marketing from Santa Clara University.
Cameron's passion for athletics is evidenced by nearly a decade of playing soccer, 4 years of volleyball, and participation in half marathons. In 2017, she became an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer. In 2019, she was selected as one of the youngest student managers of Fitness and Wellness at the CalPoly Rec Center.
At Central Core, Cameron specializes in designing group and individual TRX, circuit training, weight training, high-intensity interval training, Barre, Pilates Jumpboard and injury preventative workouts that are tailored to each individual’s specific abilities, injuries, and goals.
Cameron's experience working closely with injured athletes since 2013 has led her to adopt a very functional, adaptable, yet challenging training style. She strives to make exercising an empowering, pain-free, and enjoyable experience for everyone she works with.
Cameron is studying toward a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Sarah has been practicing Pilates for 6 years before receiving her Mat Pilates teaching certification from the respected Integrated Teacher Training in the Pilates Method (ITT) and completing Level 1 of the MPS Mentorship Program in 2018. Sarah also works as a Physical Therapy aide and undergoing Body Arts and Science International (BASI) full pilates certification.
In addition to practicing and teaching Pilates, Sarah has spent 13 years studying ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, and modern dance. She also taught intermediate ballet, beginning tap, beginning jazz, children’s movement classes, and dance conditioning workshops for children ages 7 thru 11.
As a practitioner, natural instructor, unique her eye for detail, and passion for movement therapy, Sarah excels at providing a cohesive health and wellness program through exercises that improve functional strength, mobility, and muscular balance for injury rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Sarah is studying toward a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and a minor in Dance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
